How to make an AI pet portrait from one photo

Updated October 23, 2026. To make an AI pet portrait on PetIntoArt, upload one photo of one pet, choose a style, and download the digital image. An AI pet portrait on PetIntoArt costs 10 credits. Guests can make 3 portraits free — no account or credit card required — using 4 templates: Watercolor, Classic Oil, Cartoon, and Pop Art. Surprise me stays inside those templates. That allowance is 3 images in total, not 3 per template. Other styles cost 10 credits per portrait. A new account receives 30 welcome credits once, enough for 3 more portraits at 10 credits each, and those credits work across all 14 art families and 109 Looks. After the welcome credits, one-time packs are $9.99 for 150 credits (15 portraits), $24.99 for 450 credits (45 portraits), and $49.99 for 1,000 credits (100 portraits). Packs are not a subscription, and purchased credits never expire. Prices on this page are in USD before tax.

Steps

01

Upload one pet photo

Open the homepage creator and add one JPEG, PNG, or WebP photo up to 10 MB. Use one pet, with the face visible. Everyday phone photos are welcome.

02

Choose a free template or a credit style

Guests can finish 3 portraits, with no account and no credit card, using 4 templates: Watercolor, Classic Oil, Cartoon, and Pop Art. Surprise me stays inside those 4 templates. Other styles cost 10 credits per portrait. A free account includes 30 welcome credits once, enough for 3 portraits, and opens all 14 art families and 109 Looks.

03

Download the portrait

PetIntoArt makes a digital portrait you can download. A failed generation does not use one of the 3 free portraits, and reserved credits return automatically. A finished portrait uses its 10 credits even if you wanted a different look. PetIntoArt does not print or ship artwork.

Use one clear, front-facing or near-front pet photo with the face, eyes, and ears visible. Blurry, distant, or strongly angled photos may reduce likeness. Use one pet per photo.

Pack prices

Each portrait costs 10 credits. These are one-time packs. The per-portrait amount is the pre-tax pack price divided across the portraits in that pack, rounded to the nearest cent.
